No one ever expect to hear they have cancer, especially young women. It’s never easy to hear those words, “you have cancer”. Most people are in complete shock when they hear their cancer diagnosis. There is really no way to prepare for it. But there are ways to deal with it and cope with it. In this video from our friends over at Living Beyond Breast Cancer, young breast cancer survivors who were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer reflect on their diagnosis, treatment and their life after a breast cancer diagnosis. How did it affect them? How did they deal with it? As with all of the videos in the “Let’s Talk About It” video series, courageous women share their stories and experiences to “pay it forward”. If we can learn from those who have gone through it, we can pave the path and help others have an easier road by hearing the experiences of others.
