As part of our series of using Tai Chi and Qigong techniques to build muscle mass, increasing bone density and investing in prevention, this video presents exercises which build upper body strength in the triceps, biceps, deltoids, pectoralis major and minor and some abdominal muscles. In this video, we teach you “Wall Pushups” with both the elbows in and the elbows out. We talk about correct posture and alignment in postures as well as the deep breathing and the visualizations that are done while performing the “Wall Pushups.” As always, go at your own pace, especially if you are currently in cancer treatment or recovering from surgery.
